The bakery & confectionery Juergens is a traditional small business in the up-and-coming community of Wardenburg, just south of the residential town of Oldenburg.
Our business, founded in 1899, is managed by the fourth generation master baker and pastry chef Harald Juergens and his wife, Hille.
Our qualified team makes exquisite and natural products. The use of homemade sourdough and the avoidance of convenience products are our first priority.
Freshness and quality are our daily challenge. Distinctive tastes prevail - whether bread, rolls or biscuits - as well as our cakes, pies and hearty snacks. For connoisseurs we recommend our delicious chocolates and truffles, and for the most beautiful day of life we lovingly cater for your individual celebration, or prepare your wedding cake.
The bakery & confectionery Juergens is laureate of the German Agriculture Society (DLG), whose medals are well-known for its seal of excellence, as coming from the largest and oldest European Quality-Control Institute.
The award-winning "Der Kernige Wardenburger" - a strong malt multi-grain bread with natural sourdough - and the "Wardenburger Roggenvollkornbrot," a dark rye wholemeal bread - baked according to an old "family recipe" - belong to the valued specialties from our house.
